Sound details, 2024
An artwork-organism occupies the full volume of the space and transforms it into a huge vibrational and acoustic corpus, in the midst of which visitors circulate. The vibrations are caused by a miniature system, connected to a network of rods and thin wires, as well as to two layers of large suspended metal disks. Once the vibrations are activated, the system materializes the waves and draws their movements in the air. What we are seeing becomes audible, what we are hearing becomes visible.

It gives me great pleasure to announce my nomination for the Prix Aurélie Nemours 2024.
The Aurelie Nemours Prize was founded in 2000 by Aurelie Nemours, one of the leading artists of geometric abstraction in the second half of the 20th century.
The prize has been awarded since 2000 by the Association culturelle Nemours, chaired by Serge Lemoine.
An exhibition will dialogue a selection of paintings by Aurelie Nemours with one of my recent installations Open to the Sky at Drawing Lab, 17 rue de Richelieu Paris 1er, from September 3 to 30.
